PTA Committee Vacancy - PTA Treasurer

Would you like to be our next PTA treasurer? With a clear head for numbers, you will control the PTA funds in line with the committee’s decisions, as well as charity law. You will also make sure upcoming events are affordable and profitable, and report financial information to the rest of the team. For more information email boxgrovepta@gmail.com

By joining forces, we can create a more extensive and higher-quality range of events for our community while raising additional funds to support our children’s education.

Volunteering for the Boxgrove Parent Teacher Association (BPTA) is an incredibly rewarding experience. Not only do you become part of a collective effort that positively impacts the children’s educational journey and overall experience at school, but it also opens doors to new friendships and a deeper understanding of the school environment.

Match Funding
Match Funding

You will hopefully be aware of the fantastic work your PTA are doing to raise funds for our school. We wanted to take this opportunity to remind you about the match funding scheme and how a little bit of your time could raise double the funds for the PTA.

If you work for an organisation that has a match funding policy, any money you raise could be matched by your employer. Companies may match the fundraising total for an event, or for the stall that their employee is working on. Usually, the employee will need to supply them with a letter from the PTA detailing the date and nature of the event, together with the total raised.

We understand that the high street banks, building societies, supermarkets and large corporations are likely to do match funding, but these schemes are not exclusive to the major corporate giants. If you work for an independent company, they may be interested in charitable giving through match funding too.

We would be grateful if you could see if your employer has a match funding scheme, or if they are willing to match fund any of our events. If you can’t help out this time, but you know the company you work for has a match funding policy, please let your PTA know.

If you are able to help us this way, please email boxgrovepta@gmail.com and we can discuss your companies’ requirements.

Buy Stick On School Name Labels For Clothes & All Personal Items

Name labels allow you to add stick-on name tags to your clothing, shoes, pen, lunch boxes, water bottles, and other school kit. Most name labels are stuck to the wash-care labels on clothing.

Great for school uniforms, sports clubs and nursing homes; name labels help to reduce lost property and ensure your child returns home with their own uniform (and not someone else's). Many schools ask for name labels to be added to uniforms as part of the school rules.

Click here to order Stikins name labels and raise money for the school. Use our special code 2458 at checkout and Stikins will donate up to 30% to the PTA!

Fundraising

This year we will be supporting the school in implementing OPAL, a radically new approach to learning through outdoor play for all the children, as well as increasing the profile of computing in the classroom and across the curriculum. This is in addition to the usual help with books, maths equipment etc. across the school.
